Guardian Information:  A member of the community and his wife (Ndolerire Robert and Kahwa Udah) are caring for him.  They graze cattle and sell their crops to earn money.

Sibling Information:  None.

School Information:  Joseph does not attend school.  He is working as a cattle herder to earn a living.  He wishes he could go to school.  He will hopefully be going to school during the next term.  The last grade he completed was fourth grade.

Church Information:  Joseph does not attend church.  He would like to go to church.

Child’s Home Duties:  Grazing cattle.

Child’s Favorite Activities:  Playing football.

Child’s Favorite Games:  Football.

Child’s Favorite Food:  Posho (flour and water mixture), rice, millet, and cabbage.

Child’s Career Goal:  Joseph wants to be an engineer when he grows up.

Child’s Top Three Needs:  Mattress, clothes, and shoes.

Child is Happy When…  He plays football.

Additional Information:  After his mother died of AIDS, he was chased away from their rented apartment.  He was left alone with no one to care for him.  One of the members of the community took him in as a cowboy to earn a living.
