Parental Information:  Both of her parents died of AIDS. 

Guardian Information:  When her parents died, she was left with her aunt (Kakuliremu Beatrace) and uncle (Ndolelire Robert).  They are now caring for her and her sister.  They sell milk and bananas from their farm to earn money.

Sibling Information:  She has one sister (Basemera Sharon).

School Information:  Hellen attends Nyarukoma Primary School.  She is in fifth grade.  She enjoys going to school. 

Church Information:  Hellen attends Nyarukoma Church of Uganda.  She likes going to church.

Child’s Home Duties:  Fetching water, collecting firewood, and digging.

Child’s Favorite Activities:  Singing.

Child’s Favorite Games:  Playing games, running, and dancing.

Child’s Favorite Food:  Posho (flour and water mixture), matooke (plantains), rice, and beef.

Child’s Career Goal:  Hellen wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

Child’s Top Three Needs:  Clothes, shoes, and a bag.

Child is Happy When…  She dresses well.

Additional Information:  Hellen’s aunt says that her greatest needs are school fees, clothes, and bedding.  They have four children and three adults in their household.
