Parental Information:  Her father died of AIDS and her mother (Kugonza Topista) was left alone to raise six children.  She digs and sells food to earn money, but she is unable to provide for all of the needs of her children.

Sibling Information:  She has two brothers (Twesige Rodger and Byamukama John) and and three sisters (Namara Ireen, Komuhimbo Margaret, and Karungi Beatrice).

School Information:   Teddy attends Katoosa Primary School.  She is in sixth grade.  She enjoys going to school.

Church Information:   Teddy attends Katoosa Catholic Church.  She likes going to church.

Child’s Home Duties:  Digging, fetching water, collecting firewood, and taking care of younger brothers and sisters, especially the baby.

Child’s Favorite Activities:  Singing and dancing.

Child’s Favorite Games:  Net ball, volley ball, and jump rope.

Child’s Favorite Food:  Rice, millet (flour and water mixture), beef, and beans.

Child’s Career Goal:  Teddy wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

Child’s Top Three Needs:  Clothes, shoes, and a mattress.

Child is Happy When…  She plays games.

Additional Information:   The mother is caring for six children by herself.  They stay in a small grass thatched house.  The mother says Teddy’s greatest needs are clothes, shoes, a mattress, and a bed.
