Parental Information:  Her father died of AIDS, and her mother has been diagnosed with AIDS.  She is quite weak.  She is unable to provide for Jackline’s needs.

Guardian Information:  Mukidi Peter, a teacher at the school Jackline attends, decided to take her in and care for her because the mother was unable to care for Jackline.  Peter works as a teacher to earn money.

Sibling Information:  She has one sister (Kansiima Brenda).  Jackline does not live with this sister.

School Information:   Jackline attends Kijwiga Primary School.  She is in fifth grade.  She enjoys going to school.

Church Information:   Jackline attends God’s Care Church.  She likes going to church.

Child’s Home Duties:  Fetching water and collecting firewood.

Child’s Favorite Activities:  Playing and singing.

Child’s Favorite Games:  Volleyball and jumping.

Child’s Favorite Food:  Rice, porridge, and beef.

Child’s Career Goal:  Jackline wants to be a nurse when she grows up.

Child’s Top Three Needs:  A ball, a cassette, and pens and pencils.

Child is Happy When…  She sings.

Additional Information:  Peter is caring for three children, two are his own.  He says Jackline’s greatest needs are a mattress, shoes, and school fees.
